Sky announces a host of Black Friday deals, including Sky+Netflix for just for £19/M

Black Friday has long been celebrated by consumers for the incredible discounts to be had on pretty much everything, including TVs, consoles, Bluetooth speakers, headphones. But now the discounts are coming to subscription services too, with Sky announcing a bunch of interesting deals that are available from today and will run for quite some time.

There are some significant savings on offer, with Sky offering access to the standard Sky TV and Netflix package for just £19 a month, a Sky Glass television set with Sky TV for £33 a month, and the Sky Stream service with 150 Mbps broadband for £38 a month.

Sky actually announced the Sky Glass TV deal last week when it revealed the TVs can now be bought via Currys, in addition to its online portal. With the deal, customers can walk into any Currys store and view the Sky Glass TV in-person to see if it meets their expectations, and if they’re happy, they can snap one up – complete with a Sky TV subscription that includes Netflix Basic with Ads, with everything bundled into a single payment of just £33 a month. The offer runs from now until December 3, so there’s plenty of time to weigh it up.

For those who don’t want the TV set but are desperate to see everything Sky has to offer as well as Netflix, the company is offering the Sky & Netflix package at its lowest-ever price, just £19.

Instead of getting a Sky Glass TV, customers will get a Sky Stream dongle, which delivers content to the TV over WiFi, meaning there’s no need to install a satellite dish as before. This particular offer also runs from November 7 to December 3, Sky said.

Sky revealed a number of other juicy offers too. For those who don’t yet have WiFi at home, the company is offering its Full Fibre 150 Sky Broadband service plus Sky Stream for a price of £38 per month. With the package, you’ll get fast internet with average speeds of 150Mbps, plus Sky Stream and the Sky Ultimate TV with Netflix subscription, though the company is insisting on a 24-month contract to obtain that lower price. Once again, the offer runs from November 7 to December 3.

Customers who don’t want to bother with Sky TV itself can simply opt for Sky’s broadband service, with a standalone offer for the Full Fibre 150 package costing just £27 per month, again for a 24-month contract. Consumers should note that in both cases, Sky is charging no upfront fees.

Meanwhile, if you’re interested in a mobile service subscription, Sky has you covered there too. It’s offering a deal that will give you the Sky Mobile service for half price for the next six months, with the 100GB plan costing £15 a month and the 25GB plan costing £8 a month.

In addition, if you also want to upgrade your smartphone, Sky is offering Sky Mobile packages that throw in a new iPhone or Samsung Galaxy handset that also boast significant price cuts. For instance, you can get the new iPhone SE plus Sky Mobile for just £13 a month , saving a grand total of £45, or the new Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra for just £38 per month, down from £48, saving a total of £276 over the duration of the payments.

Another option includes the Google Pixel 9 Pro smartphone, which now costs £29 per month with Sky Mobile, down from £34.

Finally, Sky said it’s not leaving out its existing subscribers, for its offering some big discounts on those who’d like to upgrade their Sky TV package. For instance, existing Sky VIP customers are getting four months of Ad Skipping, UHD and Sky Kids free of charge.

Moreover, existing customers can also take advantage of Sky’s offer on Sky Whole Home, which enables Sky to be accessed in more than one room, for just £6.50 a month for the next 24 months, half the price of what it usually costs.
