LG Electronics has published its first prices for its 2025 OLED TVs in the U.K., and anyone hoping to get their hands on a shiny new Primary RGB Tandem OLED panel will be pleased, as it’s going to be pretty affordable.

The company said its flagship LG G5 OLED TV will ship in late March or early April, depending on the size you want. It’s one of the most hotly anticipated TVs set to launch this year, with HDTVTest's Vincent Teoh recently confirming that the latest-generation of LG Display’s OLED panel boosts brightness and colour volume to unprecedented heights.

Consumers will have a choice of six sizes, starting at 48-inches all the way up to 97-inches. That 48-incher is the smallest ever LG “G” series OLED TV ever made, with the smallest version of last year’s G4 being 55-inches.

Buyers should note that there are two configurations of the G5 available, with one featuring a slick One Wall Design and the other coming with a more conventional tabletop stand, albeit only for the 55-inch and 65-inch models. The price is the same regardless.

As for the actual prices, you’ll be pleased to know that the Primary RGB Tandem OLED can be had for a price of just £1,799 if you’re prepared to settle for the smallest 48-inch model. The 55-inch model costs £2,399, while the 65-inch version will go for £3,299 and the 77-inch size set to retail at £4,499. Then there’s the 83-inch model, priced at £6,999, before we have an astronomical leap to £24,999 for the largest, 97-inch version – that’s around twice as much panel for almost 12-times the cost of the 48-inch version!

What’s interesting is that the price list is almost identical to the starting prices of last year’s G4. Of course, with the G5 almost ready to hit the stores, the G4 can now be had for a lot less.

Still, some early bird retailers have already published some interesting pre-order incentives for the LG G5 OLED TV. For instance, if you order one from John Lewis, you’ll get a free Dolby Atmos soundbar thrown in, with the exact model depending on the size ordered. For instance, if you order the 77-inch or 83-inch G5, they’ll give you an LG S95TR soundbar, while the 55-inch and 65-inch wall mount versions of the G5 come with a free LG G1 soundbar and LG USG10TY soundbar, respectively. Other retailers, such as Richer Sounds, are offering similar TV-plus-soundbar deals for pre-orders.

LG hasn’t yet said anything about prices for its mid-range and entry-level C5 and B5 OLED TVs, nor the M5 OLED TV that’s almost identical to the G5. The difference is that the M5 comes with a Zero Connect Box that hides away all of those unsightly cables, but to do this it sacrifices a little in terms of its maximum refresh rate, which is capped at 144Hz, rather than 165Hz.

We’re also still waiting to see if LG will get around to releasing its mysterious LG W5 “Wallpaper” TV, which recently won an “innovation award” at CES 2025, despite not being officially announced at that event.

We don’t know much about the W5, except to say it’s incredibly thin at just half an inch thick, designed to be mounted on a wall, and like the M5 OLED TV, features a Zero Connect Box. It also has LG’s most advanced α11 AI Processor, but we don’t know if it will come with the Primary RGB Tandem OLED panel, or an older version.
