The acknowledgment is significant for LG as Which? is widely regarded as one of the most impartial reviewers of consumers goods. Which? is a brand that belongs to the Consumers' Association and attempts to promote informed consumer choice when it comes to purchasing goods and services by testing products, highlighting those that are inferior or superior, and by raising awareness of consumer rights.

LG beat out some stiff competition to land the awards. The survey took into account more than 43,682 individual products, which were reviewed and rated based on their average price, test score and customer score.

The company came out on top in Which?’s survey, with its TVs receiving praise for being “consistently excellent”. Some of the stand out features of LG’s TVs include “sparkling screen quality” and “booming sound”, Which?’s experts said.

LG has certainly put out an impressive line up in 2018, with new OLED and SUPER UHD models including its W8, E8, C8, B8, SK95, and SK85 TVs. The company also dazzled us with a preview of the world’s first 88-inch 8K OLED TV and its next-generation of Crystal Sound OLED earlier this year. Other advances include the introduction of LG’s ThinQ AI artificial intelligence software into its high-end TV sets, as well as a preview of its visually stunning OLED Canyon display at CES 2018.

“LG is continuing to invest a large proportion of its revenue into R&D to ensure we keep meeting our customer’s high standards and provide the best and most reliable range of TVs on the market,” Anderson said.
