The displays are powered by Sony’s X1 processor, come with user interfaces that are optimised for Android 9, and support for Apple’s AirPlay wireless protocol.

The company confirmed that all 17 displays have native compatibility with Sony Teos, which is a software suite that provides functions including mirroring, signage, wayfinding and meeting room management. In addition, the displays offer native compatibility with solutions from Cisco, Crestron, Extron, Kramer, Logitech and Control 4. Other features include an integrated media player, meeting room interface, and access an Android app store.

The displays include the premium quality A8 4K OLED, which is available in 55-inch and 65-inch sizes and runs Android 9. Both versions are powered by the X1 Ultimate Processor, and are on sale now, Sony said.

The ZH8 8K displays meanwhile come in 75-inch and 85-inch sizes, feature an aluminium bezel and offer 16GB of internal storage space. They also run the Android 9 platform, and will go on sale in June.

Next in line are the Sony XH9 4K displays (pictured), which will also go on sale next month in 55-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch sizes with Direct Full Array LED. Then there’s the XH8 4K displays, which are the company’s mid-range offering. Available to buy now, these include support for 4K HDR, and are available in 55-, 65-, 75- and 85-inch sizes with Direct LED. There are also smaller 43-inch and 49-inch models with Edge LED. The XH9 and XH8 displays both offer 16GB of storage.

Finally, Sony is offering its XH7 budget range of professional displays featuring 4K Linux resolution, in 43-, 49-, 55- and 65-inches with Edge LED and 4GB of internal storage, plus three HDMI ports. The XH7 professional displays are also available to buy now, the company said.
