Chinese brand Hisense showed off some nice new TVs at the Consumer Electronics Show back in January, and now the company is ready to announce their official launch. The company’s new 4K ULED TVs come with support for Quantum Dot Colour, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Dolby Atmos.
The flagship model in the range is the Hisense U8QF, available in 55-inches and 65-inches. It supports all of the above features, with the Quantum Dot Colour ensuring it can disply accurate colours even at peak brightness, while working with a wide range of HDR content. Meanwhile, the Dolby Atmos capability should ensure crisp audio sounds with any compatible content.
The U8QF also features Hisense’s Full Array Dimming Pro technology, which helps to improve both the contrast levels and the overall picture quality, according to the company.
The TV also comes with a front-firing speaker built-in that’s tuned by the audio experts at JBL.
Hisense is also throwing in a new user interface for this year’s models. The Vidaa U4 operating system features apps from Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Rakuten TV, YouTube and Freeview Play. Selected apps can display short previews of movies and TV shows imply by highlighting them.
Just below sits the U7QF series, which is available in 50-, 55- and 65-inch models. It offers a slightly lower refresh rate of just 60Hz versus the 120Hz in the U8QF, but has many of the same features listed above.
Next in line is the A7500F and A7400F series TVs, which both offer 4K resolution and support for Dolby Vision in a range of screen sizes. Finally, Hisense is offering the entry-level A7300F and A7100F series, which come in a range of sizes from 43-inches to 75-inches.
“We’re delighted to announce the launch of our 2020 range,” said Arun Bhatoye, Senior Marketing Manager at Hisense UK. “There are some fantastic new features available throughout the range, both from a visual and an audio perspective, which we know consumers will love. The picture quality coming through our latest offering of Quantum Dot is simply stunning and further extends the choice of TVs from Hisense.”
Hisense said its 2020 TVs are available to buy in the U.K. from today.
