Amazon is launching a fresh batch of new Fire TV products, including a revamped Fire TV Cube, its first ever OLED Fire TV model, and a new Fire TV Edition soundbar.

Amazon's second-generation Fire TV Cube is essentially a set-top box that combines Amazon’s Fire TV Stick with the skills of its Echo Speaker. The first edition never made it to the U.K., or indeed Europe, but the good news is that will change with this latest edition.

The device itself gets a few nifty new features. It’s powered by Amazon’s latest hexa-core processor, which makes it the “fastest Fire TV ever”, according to the company’s words. It throws in support for Dolby Atmos, can support 4K content at up to 60 frames per second, and is compatible with both premium HDR formats, namely Dolby Vision and HDR10+.

Amazon said the second-generation Fire TV Cube is available to pre-order on its website now, priced at £110 in the U.K. The device will ship to customers from October 10.

Amazon also said it’s partnering with several new manufacturers to expand its Fire TV Edition Smart TV range into more countries. Its new partners include brands such as JVC, Skyworth, Arcelik, Compal and TPV.

The partnership with JVC is especially interesting for U.K. consumers as it means we’ll finally see the first Fire TV Edition Smart TVs go on sale on these shores. Amazon said the JVC-branded Fire TVs will be available in a choice of 40-inch, 49-inch and 55-inch models, priced at £349, £399 and £499 respectively. All three models support Dolby Vision and HDR and come with Amazon Alexa, and will go on sale at Currys PC World. They can also be purchased online directly from Amazon.

Amazon will also launch its first ever OLED TV, designed in partnership with Grundig, though that model will initially only be on sale in Austria and Germany. It’s not clear if or when it might come to the U.K.

Last but not least, Amazon revealed details of its upcoming Neubula soundbar created in partnership with Anker. The soundbar features 4K HDR support, Dolby Vision pass through, and is compatible with Amazon Alexa.

Amazon said the Nebula Soundbar - Fire TV Edition is available to pre-order now and will go on sale from October 21, priced at £180.
